Bandung, fmipa.itb.ac.id – Post holiday of Eid 1435 H, exactly on August 7th 2014, four days after Labor Day, the Faculty of Mathematics and Science (FMIPA) of ITB held a post Eid gathering event at hall of FMIPA ITB. The event was attended by all element of the leadership and the entire structural officials, professors, retirees, and staffs who served or had served in the Faculty. As a retired of professor Hariadi Supangkat, Bana Kartasasmita, Widiarti Santoso, and others. This event was attended by approximately 241 people. The tradition to forgive each other through this gathering is an annual event in the faculty after all muslims conducted fasting in Ramadan and celebrate Eid.

The master of ceremony began opening the event at 11.18 WIB and soon after the opening, the speech from Prof.Dr.rer.nat. Umar Fauzi as Dean of the FMIPA ITB began. In the same occasion, he also invites the entire family of FMIPA ITB to utilize this as a mean of gathering that strengthens kinship. The event continued with a few announcements, ie the names of new staffs who work in the Faculty FMIPA ITB, academic and non-academic staffs who enter the retirement, anniversary dates of staffs in August, and the event ended by praying and suave with invited guests, and all participants are welcome to eat food and beverages that has been provided by the Faculty.

Hopefully with this activity that aims to forgive each other and increasing the faith and our belief toward God, we belong to the class of people who are fortunate. Aameen.
