Research Interest

Biodegradable Polymers

  • Synthesis of biodegradable polymers (copolymers and its polyblends) based on lactone compounds and natural products with polyolefine derivatives (such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene).
  • Synthesis of poly(urethane-ester) from poliol of lactone segments and natural products with diisocianate derivative compounds.
  • Novel polystyrene and their derivatives as biomaterials.
  • Synthesis of composites from natural fibres and polyolefine derivatives.
