BANDUNG, fmipa.itb.ac.id, -In the framework of FMIPA ITB’s contribution to advancing education through increasing teacher competency, High-Energy Theoretical Physics Research Group conducts Community Service at the Watubelah Cirebon campus. This activity starts from November 25, 2023 (coinciding with National Teachers’ Day) until November 26, 2023.
Participants in this activity are teachers from science/physics subjects. The lecturer staff of High-Energy Theoretical Physics Research Group deliver material with an emphasis on:
1. Mastery of selected science material topics which often face obstacles when taught to students;
2. Training in the use of open source software as a teaching aid in simulating and visualizing scientific phenomena;
3. Mastery of correct science concepts and avoiding misconceptions in science teaching;
4. Mastery of research-based teaching materials related to teaching materials (Research-Based Learning);
5. Explanation regarding the opportunities for master's degree study in the teaching master's study program at FMIPA ITB.

This event is held due to the support of the ITB Cirebon Campus Directorate, SPS ITB, and other parties, namely Korea-Indonesia MTCRC (Marine Technology Cooperation Research Center), Cirebon District Education Office, Serang District Education and Culture Department, and various other educational agencies.
