GALAXY CRUISE WORKSHOP
BANDUNG, fmipa.itb.ac.id, – Astronomy Research Group ITB invites students and lecturers who are interested in conducting research in the field of galactic astronomy to take part in the Galaxy Cruise Workshop.
In Indonesia, through the Galaxy Cruise Workshop for Students organized by the Astronomy Study Program ITB, participants will obtain additional new abilities in accessing data from the world’s largest telescopes which produce surveys with excellent results such as the Subaru 8.2 M. Participants will be actively invited to understand cutting-edge research developments in the field of galaxies, utilizing data from Galaxy Cruise for research into galaxies and their interactions. At the end of the workshop, participants will be given experience in preparing proposals in groups.
in-depth introductory workshop on the use of Galaxy Cruise data and the Subaru Hyper Suprime-Cam (HSC) Telescope.
