PT Daewoong Pharmaceutical Explores Collaboration Opportunities with FMIPA ITB
The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) received a visit from PT Daewoong Pharmaceutical, a pharmaceutical company from South Korea on Tuesday (20/1/2026). This visit was part of the initial meeting agenda which aimed to discuss opportunities for cooperation in the fields of education, research and human resource development.
The meeting was received directly by Dekan FMIPA ITB and attended by representatives of lecturers from various Scientific Groups within FMIPA ITB. Meanwhile, PT Daewoong Pharmaceutical was represented by JongHyun Lee, Winston Obert, and Fiersa Fauzia Nursyaf.
The activity began with a presentation of the profile of PT Daewoong Pharmaceutical by Winston Obert, which highlights the company's experience in collaborating with various universities in Indonesia. Some potential collaborations discussed include research collaboration, technology development, and human resource development programs. FMIPA ITB welcomes this initiative as a first step to strengthen synergy between academics and international industry.
This visit is in line with FMIPA ITB's efforts to expand global cooperation networks and encourage cross-border collaboration to support the development of science and technology.
