Mathematical Analysis & Geometry Day (MagD-Day) 2024
BANDUNG, fmipa.itb.ac.id, – Analysis and Geometry Research Group, Mathematics FMIPA ITB, is again holding “Mathematical Analysis & Geometry Day (MagD-Day)” in 2024.
Participants
Analysis and Geometry Problem Solving Competition 2024 is carried out in teams with members of each team consisting of two undergraduate students. Each team must come from the same college. One college can submit more than one team. Participants who have won first place in previous years are not allowed to participate again.
Competition Question
Individual MaG-D participants are given the opportunity to take part in the Competition Question Package which will be distributed on the web address math.itb.ac.id and on the magd.itb Instagram account on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Participants in this package competition must send the solution to kkag@itb.ac.id no later than Monday, April 29, 2024.

Problem Solving Competition
Analysis and Geometry Research Group, FMIPA ITB, for the fifteenth time will hold an Analysis and Geometry Problem Solving Competition (MaG-D XV 2024). The first stage of the competition will be held online on Saturday, April 20, 2024.The other stages of the competition will be held offline on Friday-Saturday, May 3-4 2024 at the CRCS ITB Building, 3rd floor.
Public lecture
In this competition, a public lecture on mathematics is scheduled with the following presenters:

Each participant in the Analysis and Geometry Problem Solving Competition will receive a certificate and the winners will receive attractive prizes.
Competition Stages
Stage 1&2
Each participant works on questions independently using Calculus, Geometry, Complex Analysis, and Real Analysis material. The teams that qualify for stage 2 are half the number of teams that have participated in stage 1 and are determined by the combined score of each team. Teams that qualify for stage 2 will work on questions independently which will be held offline at ITB.
Stage 3
At this stage, the ten best teams with the highest combined scores will work on essay questions using the material above and the five best teams will take part in the next stage.
Stage 4
The five best teams from the judges’ assessment of written answers will present the best answers.
