About the ITB–KAIST Partnership
The collaboration between Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) began in 2009, marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on February 2, 2009. This partnership was established to foster bilateral academic exchanges and collaborative research initiatives. The first milestone of this cooperation was the launch of the “Undergraduate Internship Program 2010,” which laid the foundation for a series of successful academic exchanges and joint programs between the two institutions.
Program History and Impact
Since the program’s inception in 2010, the KAIST Internship Program has consistently supported student exchanges between ITB and KAIST. Over the years, the number of participants has varied, with an average of 6 to 8 students selected annually. As of 2024, a total of 92 students from ITB have participated in this prestigious program, reflecting the sustained strength and continuity of this academic partnership.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the selected students. We are confident that you will represent ITB with excellence and make the most of this invaluable experience.
