SUMEDANG, fmipa.itb.ac.id — The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Bandung Institute of Technology held a Phase I Introduction to Study Program (Prodi) activity for undergraduate students class of 2025. This activity is a routine agenda which aims to introduce the academic environment, lecturers and curriculum of each study program at FMIPA ITB.

The event, which took place at FMIPA ITB, was attended by lecturers and student representatives from various study programs, including Mathematics, Actuarial, Physics, Chemistry and Astronomy. In the panel session, the lecturers and study program representatives provided an overview of the scientific profile, career prospects and research opportunities available in each field.

Apart from the presentation session, this activity was also enlivened by an interactive question and answer session between students and resource persons, which showed the high enthusiasm of the new students to learn more about the academic world they will be living in. At the end of the event, awards were also presented to outstanding students who had made positive contributions to FMIPA ITB.

With the spirit of "In Harmonia Progressio", it is hoped that this activity can be the first step for new students to adapt, collaborate and develop together in harmony towards progress in science and technology.
