SMR is very promising and suitable for small and medium cities as well as archipelago country like Indonesia. Large nuclear power plant is the best choice for Jawa-Sumatra-Bali grid. However, for the rest islands In Indonesia, SMRs should be taken into consideration.<\/p>\n<p>Several SMRs designs have been proposed. They are: CAREM-25 (Argentina), Flexblue (DCNS France), IMR (MHI Japan), SMART (KAERI, Korea), KLT-40S (Russian Federation), NuScale (NuScale USA), and Westinghouse SMR (USA)<\/p>\n<p>In this workshop, several aspects of SMR Design and Technology will be discussed.
