BANDUNG, fmipa.itb.ac.id —Three lecturers from the Physics Study Program, FMIPA Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), became speakers in the Physics Teacher Competency Improvement Workshop held by the Fitrah Islami World Academy (FIWA) School in Bogor on August 14–15, 2025. The speakers were Dr. Getbogi Hikmawan (High Energy Theoretical Physics Group), Dr. Galih Restu Fardian Suwandi (Nuclear Physics and Biophysics Group), and Dr. M. Arief Mustajab (Physics and Advanced Material Technology Group).

The workshop was opened with remarks from the school, namely the Principal of SMA, Ust. Jabbar Zulkarnain, S.Si., Gr. and the foundation, namely Dr.Ir. Hendri Eka Jaya Putra, S.T.,S.Pd.,M.Pd.,Gr., both of whom welcomed the implementation of this activity and emphasized the importance of improving teacher competency in facing the challenges of 21st century education.
